Hill’s goal in final minute pushes Appleton United boys lacrosse past Neenah

APPLETON – Ryder Hill scored with 30 seconds to go to lift the Appleton United boys lacrosse team to a 7-6 win over Neenah on Monday night at Appleton East High School.

Appleton trailed by two before rallying late to win its third-straight contest. Both teams are now 9-4 this season.

Hill finished with three goals, Anton Downs had two, and Jaylen Kempfer and Landon Larsen both scored once for Appleton.

Appleton will host Middleton on Thursday before finishing its regular season at De Pere/West De Pere on May 21.

Appleton is the No. 4 seed in its bracket for the upcoming WIAA playoffs and will host Oneida Nation/Green Bay Southwest/Seymour in a regional semifinal May 28 at Appleton East High School.
