Fox Valley Lutheran, Xavier each have six top-five finishes at UW-Oshkosh Small Division Girls Indoor Track Invitational

OSHKOSH – Fox Valley Lutheran and Xavier both had six top-five finishes, and finished fourth and fifth, respectively, at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Small Division Girls Indoor Track Invitational on Tuesday at the Kolf Sports Center.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran won the Division 2 team title with 69 points, with Little Chute with 64. FVL placed fourth with 39.33 points and Xavier a close fifth with 39 points.
Fox Valley Lutheran had one individual victory as Emma Nilson won the shot put with a toss of 35 feet, 1 inch.
Xavier also had one winner as Lilie Fouts cruised to the 3,200-meter run victory in a time of 11:27.89.
Sophia Wunderlich placed second in the 60 hurdles (9.97 seconds) and fifth in the triple jump (32-11); Annalise Patchett finished third in the 200 (27.59); Claire Fischer was fourth in the 400 (1:03.21); and the 3,200 relay team of Kristin Donart, Madeline Zuelsdorf, Naomi Witting and Rowen Volhard was fifth (11:13.87) for Fox Valley Lutheran.
For Xavier, Caroline Basehoar took third in the pole vault (10-0); Grace Hackl was third in the 400 (1:02.88); the 3,200 relay team of Lily McHugh, Hannah Linsmeyer, Anna Bettag and Fouts finished third (10:35.72); Grace Renz took fifth in the 200 (28.30) and Lauren Erickson placed fifth in the 400 (1:03.30).
