Fox Valley Lutheran wrestling wins four matches by pin in loss to Marinette

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran wrestling team dropped a North Eastern Conference dual meet to Marinette 59-24 on Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Marinette won six matches by pin and three by forfeit to take control.

All four of the Foxes’ victories were pins. Isaac Vadala (285 pounds), Austin Kufner (157), Liam Murphy (165) and Peyton Lemberger (215) all had pins in the first period of their respective matches.

Fox Valley Lutheran will have two weeks off before competing at the Viking Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran High School on Saturday, Jan. 6.
