Fox Valley Lutheran wins all three matches at opening day of Beast of the Northeast Girls Volleyball Tournament

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team opened the two-day Beast of the Northeast Tournament with three straight-set wins at the Champion Center on Friday.

FVL defeated Appleton East, Sheboygan Falls and Randolph with two-set sweeps.

Annalise Patchett had 30 kills, 15 digs and six service aces, Emma Nilson added 17 kills, Molly Bixby had 35 assists, five aces and 10 digs, and Riley Schmitz had 36 digs for the Foxes.

Ava Patchett added 27 assists and 10 digs, and Sophie Wunderlich had nine kills as well for Fox Valley Lutheran in its three matches.

Appleton East results were not reported.

The tournament, which is being hosted by Green Bay Notre Dame, concludes Saturday.
