Fox Valley Lutheran ties for third at second leg of NEC Boys Golf Tournament

FREEDOM – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys golf team tied for third at the second North Eastern Conference Boys Golf Meet of the season on Tuesday at Irish Waters Golf Course.

Wrightstown, which tied Little Chute for first place at the opening meet on April 1 in Denmark, won this one outright with a score of 337, 20 shots ahead of Luxemburg-Casco. FVL and Waupaca tied for third with scores of 359.

Jacob Zwiers of Little Chute won meet medalist honors for the second-straight meet, firing a 76 in windy conditions.

Adam Loberger shot an 83, Ethan Ruppel had a 91, Tate Sauer shot 92, Kaden Kusserow had a 93 and Myles Boehm shot a 99 for Fox Valley Lutheran.

FVL plays next in the Metro Invitational on Monday at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood.
