GREEN BAY – The Fox Valley Lutheran softball team came from behind to win its fourth-straight game with a 4-2 victory over Green Bay Notre Dame on Wednesday at King Field on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Madison Babcock had an RBI double in the first inning to give the Foxes a quick lead, only to see Notre Dame (8-12) pull ahead with single tallies in the second and third innings.
That would be all the Tritons would muster against Babcock, who struck out 15 in a complete-game effort and the offense came through.
Alaina Krueger had an RBI single to tie the game in the sixth, and the Foxes pulled ahead in the seventh on a two-run double by Melayna Sokulski.
Fox Valley Lutheran (14-6) hosts Clintonville for a North Eastern Conference game Thursday at 4:45 p.m.
