Fox Valley Lutheran softball rallies to beat Little Chute, wins sixth straight

LITTLE CHUTE – Fox Valley Lutheran scored four times in the top of the sixth inning to pull past Little Chute 10-9 in a North Eastern Conference softball game Friday at Little Chute High School.
Brooklyn Blob earned the pitching win and went 5-for-5 at the plate with three runs scored for the Foxes, who won their sixth game in a row and is now 16-6 overall and 10-6 in the NEC.
Melayna Sokulski hit a two-run home run to start the four-run sixth, and Olivia Fischer and Hannah Uhlenbrauck later added RBI singles to push FVL to the lead. Uhlenbrauck finished 3-for-4 and Hannah Buttler added two hits and two RBI as well for the Foxes.
Addison Wegand hit a home run for Little Chute (1-18, 1-15 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran’s next game is Monday at Marinette.
