Fox Valley Lutheran places third at first NEC boys golf meet of season

DENMARK – The North Eastern Conference boys golf season got underway despite cold and windy conditions, and even a little snow, at the first conference meet of the season Monday at Twin Oaks Golf Course.
Little Chute and Wrightstown tied for first place with scores of 357, with Fox Valley Lutheran finishing a distant third with a 380.
Jacob Zwiers of Little Chute was meet medalist with a 76, finishing six strokes ahead of Wrightstown’s Alex Wendlandt and Oconto Falls’ Kadyn Riel.
Kaden Kusserow placed 11th with a 92 and Ethan Ruppel tied for 12th with a 93 to lead Fox Valley Lutheran.
Myles Boehm added a 95, Tate Sauer shot a 100 and Adam Loberger had a 103 to round out the Foxes’ scoring.
The NEC meet will be Tuesday, April 9, at Irish Waters Golf Course in Freedom.
