Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball wins North Eastern Conference showdown at Luxemburg-Casco

LUXEMBURG – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team traveled to Luxemburg-Casco on Tuesday for a battle of the two undefeated teams in the North Eastern Conference and came out on top with a hard-fought 3-0 sweep to earn no worse than a share of the conference title.

The Foxes won 25-21, 25-21, 25-20, to improve to 8-0 in the NEC, while Luxemburg-Casco drops to 7-1.

Molly Bixby had 21 assists and 11 digs, Emma Nilson had a team-high 11 kills, and Riley Schmitz had 21 assists and 11 digs for the Foxes.

Annalise Patchett added 12 digs, nine kills and two blocks, and Brianna Stewart had eight kills for FVL.

Fox Valley Lutheran wraps up its regular-season and conference slate at home against Marinette on Thursday with a chance to earn the North Eastern Conference championship outright for the first time since 2019.
