Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball sweeps Waupaca in battle of NEC unbeatens

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team remain undefeated in the North Eastern Conference after sweeping previously unbeaten Waupaca 3-0 on Tuesday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

The Foxes won 25-22, 25-14, 25-22, to improve to 5-0 in the NEC this season. Waupaca falls to 4-1.

Emma Nilson had 11 kills, Ava Patchett had 13 assists, and Riley Schmitz had 22 digs to lead FVL in each category.

Greta Nolte added 11 digs and four kills, Patchett also had 11 digs, and Amara Jahner had 16 digs and five services aces as well for the Foxes, who are 23-6 overall this fall.

Fox Valley Lutheran plays at a quadrangular meet at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee on Saturday against Watertown Luther Prep, Shoreland Lutheran and Winnebago Lutheran. Play begins at 9 a.m.
