Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball opens conference season with home win over Denmark

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team opened its North Eastern Conference season with a 3-0 sweep of Denmark on Thursday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

The Foxes won 25-20, 25-11, 25-9.

Ava Patchett had 18 assists and five service aces, Riley Schmitz had 25 digs, and Hannah Uhlenbrauck topped FVL with 11 kills.

Fox Valley Lutheran is back in action Tuesday with its annual nonconference game against crosstown rival Xavier. The game, at Xavier High School, will start at 7 p.m.
