APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball team finished off a perfect North Eastern Conference championship season with a 3-0 sweep of Marinette on Thursday night at home.
The Foxes rolled 25-7, 25-13, 25-11, to cap a 9-0 NEC season.
Emma Nilson and Annalise Patchett each had 11 kills, Riley Schmitz had 17 digs, and Molly Bixby had 20 assists and seven service aces to pace Fox Valley Lutheran.
Ava Patchett chipped in 14 assists and four aces, and Brooklyn Hayes had six kills in the victory for FVL.
The second-seeded Foxes will open WIAA postseason play with a Division 2 regional quarterfinal at home against No. 15 seed Two Rivers on Tuesday starting at 7 p.m.
