Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball pulls out close win over Luxemburg-Casco

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team won for the fifth time in its last six games with a 32-27 victory over Luxemburg-Casco in a North Eastern Conference slugfest Saturday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

FVL led 10-9 after a slow first half and were able to hold on in the end, improving to 7-9 overall and 7-6 in the North Eastern Conference.

Lauren Movrich made three 3-pointers and scored 11 points, and Alaina Krueger pulled down 15 rebounds in the win for the Foxes.

Luxemburg-Casco drops to 9-9 and 8-5 in conference play.

FVL is back in action Tuesday at Wrightstown.
