Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball prevails in overtime to top Clintonville

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran’s Lauren Movrich drilled a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie the game and send it to overtime, where the Foxes prevailed, defeating Clintonville 49-46 in a North Eastern Conference girls basketball game Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes outscored Clintonville 7-4 in the extra four-minute period to pull out the win and move their record to 6-9 overall and 6-6 in the NEC.
Eden Last scored 11 points, Reese Volhard had 10, and Movrich and Alaina Krueger both added eight points for FVL.
Natalie Sunita had a game-high 14 points for Clintonville (3-15, 2-11 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Luxemburg-Casco at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in another North Eastern Conference contest.
