Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball outlasts Luxemburg-Casco in overtime

LUXEMBURG – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team held Luxemburg-Casco scoreless in overtime and won 42-37 in its regular-season and North Eastern Conference finale Thursday at Luxemburg-Casco High School.

The Foxes outscored L-C 5-0 in the overtime period to end their season on a high note, finishing in a three-way tie with Luxemburg-Casco and Oconto Falls for fifth-place in the conference.

Lauren Movrich scored 17 points and Eden Last added 10 for Fox Valley Lutheran (9-14, 9-9 NEC).

Erin Cherovsky led the Spartans (10-14, 9-9 NEC) with nine points.

No. 9 seed Fox Valley Lutheran will play a WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal at No. 8 Seymour on Tuesday.
