Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball ends four-game losing skid with NEC win at Clintonville

CLINTONVILLE – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team used a strong defensive effort to down Clintonville 43-31 in a North Eastern Conference matchup Thursday night at Clintonville High School.
The Foxes led by two points at halftime and held Clintonville to just 14 points in the second half to pull away for the 12-point win.
Eden Last scored 15 points and Lauren Movrich added nine for Fox Valley Lutheran, which improves to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the North Eastern Conference, and snaps a four-game losing streak.
Natalie Sunita scored 16 points for Clintonville (2-5, 1-3 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Xavier for a nonconference game on Monday.
