Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer routs Green Bay West for first win of 2024

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer team picked up its first win of the season with a 10-0 blowout of Green Bay West in a nonconference match Friday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Jin Lee and Ezra Schaser each scored twice to lead the way for the Foxes, who improve to 1-3 this season.

Kaleb Williams, Cayden Reising, Caleb Shively, Jackson Meyer and Marti Hostalot Heredia added goals for FVL. The Foxes also scored on a Green Bay West (0-3) own goal.

Williams had two assists, with Lee, Schaser and Noah Selle also earning assists in the win for the Foxes.

West did not attempt a shot on goal in the game.

FVL will play its third game in three days on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Pacelli at the Portage County Youth Soccer complex in Stevens Point.
