Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball snags home win over Waupaca

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team methodically pulled away to beat Waupaca 56-45 in a North Eastern Conference matchup Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes led by seven at halftime and maintained their lead the rest of the way, improving to 14-8 overall and 11-6 in the North Eastern Conference.
Gabe Heiges had 18 points and Caleb Dahlke added 15 for FVL.
Austin Adamczak scored more than half of Waupaca’s points, finishing with 23 points for the Comets (12-10, 10-7 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran will close out its regular season with home games against Green Bay Notre Dame on Monday and Marinette on Thursday.
The WIAA playoff brackets will be released Sunday morning.
