Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball routs Marinette

MARINETTE – Adam Loberger had 28 points and Sam Ferge added 26 as the Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team rolled to an 89-52 victory over Marinette in a North Eastern Conference matchup Thursday night at Marinette High School.

The Foxes raced out to a 15-point lead by halftime at 42-27, and racked up 47 more points in the second half to cruise to the victory.

Fox Valley Lutheran is now 2-0 overall and in the North Eastern Conference.

Sam Sommerfeldt led Marinette (1-3, 0-2 NEC) with 15 points.

FVL jumps right back into action Friday night with a nonconference game against Kettle Moraine Lutheran at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa at 6:30 p.m.
