Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball routs Clintonville, stays undefeated in NEC

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team took another step toward a North Eastern Conference championship with a dominating 62-40 win over Clintonville on Friday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

The Foxes pulled out to a 20-point lead by halftime and 35-15 and maintained their big lead the rest of the way to run their record to 14-1 overall and a perfect 12-0 in the NEC.

Sam Ferge had 22 points, Adam Loberger 17 and Liam Heiges 10 for FVL, which holds a two-game lead over Freedom in the NEC standings.

Fox Valley Lutheran will be at home against Green Bay Southwest for a nonconference game Monday beginning at 7 p.m.
