Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball opens season with home win over Waupaca

APPLETON – Adam Loberger scored 23 points to lead the Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team to a 74-62 win over Waupaca in the North Eastern Conference and season-opener for both teams on Tuesday night at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Sam Ferge added 18 points and Elijah Last chipped in 12 for the Foxes.

Riley Bechard led Waupaca with 21 points.

Fox Valley Lutheran will play at Marinette in another North Eastern Conference battle on Thursday as part of a boys-girls doubleheader. The boys game begins at 5:45 p.m. with the girls to follow at approximately 7:30 p.m.
