Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball holds off Oconto Falls to win NEC opener

OCONTO FALLS – Fox Valley Lutheran pulled out to an eight-point lead by halftime and held on to defeat Oconto Fallso 58-54 in the North Eastern Conference boys basketball opener for both teams on Thursday at Oconto Falls High School.
The Foxes (2-0 overall) led 29-21 at halftime and were able to hold off Oconto Falls at the end.
Graham Feidt finished with 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting, and added five rebounds and five steals for the Foxes. Lucas Papendorf chipped in 10 points in the win.
Evan Yuma led Oconto Falls (1-1 overall) with 19 points and eight rebounds.
Fox Valley Lutheran will host Clintonville for its home-opener on Tuesday in another North Eastern Conference game.
