Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball drops WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal at West Salem

WEST SALEM – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team had its season come to an end with a 77-51 loss to West Salem in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal Friday night at West Salem High School.
The Foxes fell behind 38-27 by halftime and could not get their offense flowing the second half, end their season with a 16-10 record.
Gabe Heiges had 16 points and Caleb Dahlke scored 15 for FVL.
Kyle Hehli led West Salem (18-6) with 29 points.
The No. 3 seed West Salem will travel to No. 2 seed La Crosse Logan (16-9) for a D-2 regional final on Saturday.
