Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball downs Wrightstown to take over second place in NEC

WRIGHTSTOWN – Lucas Papendorf scored 22 points to lead the Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team to a 62-45 win over Wrightstown in a North Eastern Conference battle Friday at Wrightstown High School.

Caleb Dahlke added 12 points and Gabe Heiges had nine for the Foxes, who are now 6-1 and 4-1 in the North Eastern Conference.

With the win, and Freedom’s defeat of Little Chute, Fox Valley Lutheran stands alone in second place in the NEC. Freedom is unbeaten at 6-0.

Wrightstown drops to 5-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Ripon for a nonconference game on Tuesday.
