Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball defeats La Crosse Logan in WIAA Division 2 playoff opener

APPLETON – Four Fox Valley Lutheran players scored in double figures as the No. 6 Foxes defeated No. 11 La Crosse Logan 73-59 in a WIAA Division 2 boys basketball regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes opened up a commanding 42-24 lead by halftime and were able to keep Logan at bay the rest of the way to pick up the 14-point win.
Fox Valley Lutheran (16-9) moves on to a regional semifinal at No. 3 seed West Salem (17-6) on Friday.
Caleb Dahlke had a team-high 18 points, Lucas Papendorf added 15, Graham Feidt scored 12 and Gabe Heiges chipped in 10 for the Foxes.
Bubba Leaver topped Logan (7-18) with a game-high 21 points.
