Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball comes back to win at Little Chute

LITTLE CHUTE – The Fox Valley Lutheran boys basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Little Chute 68-54 in a North Eastern Conference matchup Saturday at Little Chute High School.

The Foxes trailed 34-30 at halftime before nearly doubling up Little Chute in the second half and used an 18-point advantage over the final 18 minutes to pull away.

Fox Valley Lutheran is now 18-2 overall and a perfect 15-0 in the NEC, and can wrap up the outright conference title with a win at second-place Freedom on Tuesday.

Liam Heiges had 15 points and Sam Ferge kicked in 13 for FVL.

Cooper Effs led Little Chute (11-10, 9-6 NEC) with 10 points.

Following the game at Freedom on Tuesday, Fox Valley Lutheran will host Little Chute in a rematch on Friday at 7 p.m.
