Fox Valley Lutheran baseball rallies to defeat Clintonville

CLINTONVILLE – Fox Valley Lutheran rallied from a three-run deficit to defeat Clintonville 7-4 in a North Eastern Conference baseball game Tuesday at Olen Athletic Field.
The Truckers led 4-1 after four innings before Fox Valley Lutheran scored twice in the fifth on a two-run single by Alex Tornio and tied it in the sixth on an RBI single by Jack Schlueter.
FVL pushed across three runs in the seventh to take the lead and James Heimrel finished off the win on the mound to give the Foxes their first victory of the season.
Tornio had two hits and three RBI for Fox Valley Lutheran (1-1 overall and North Eastern Conference).
The two teams will play again Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran starting at 4:30 p.m.
