Fox Cities Stars girls hockey downs Wisconsin Valley Union

WAUPACA – Evie Mursau had a hat trick to lead the Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team to a 6-2 win over the Wisconsin Valley Union in an Eastern Shores Conference game Thursday night at the Waupaca Expo Center.

Margaret Thomas, Peyton Hewitt and Maleiyah Streck added goals for the Stars, who are now 11-10 overall and 4-3 in the Eastern Shores Conference.

Makenna Otto saved 18 of the 20 shots she saw in goal for the Stars.

Wisconsin Valley Union falls to 6-14 and 0-8 in conference play.
