Fox Cities Stars boys hockey holds off West Bend

WEST BEND – The Fox Cities Stars boys hockey team evened its record at 6-6 with a 3-2 victory over the West Bend Bears on Saturday at the Kettle Moraine Ice Center.

Sam Robb scored twice in the second period and Will Cote added another goal for the Stars early in the third to put them on top 3-0.

West Bend (8-3) scored twice in the final seven minutes but the Stars were able to hold on.

Elliot Reichenbacher made 32 saves in goal for Fox Cities.

The Stars will play a Badgerland Conference game at Fond du Lac on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
