Fond du Lac Springs knocks off Fox Cities Stars boys hockey

NEENAH – Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs scored four power-play goals and defeated the Fox Cities Stars 7-1 in a Badgerland Conference boys hockey game Tuesday at the Tri-County Ice Arena.
Austin Westergaard had three gaols and two assists in the victory for Springs (2-3, 1-1 Badgerland).
Sam Robb scored the Stars’ lone goal on a power play 4:37 into the second period.
Elliot Reichenberger made 40 saves in goal for the Stars (2-6, 0-2 Badgerland).
The Stars return to action next Tuesday, Dec. 19, at home against Shawano/Bonduel.
