Babcock no-hits Clintonville as Fox Valley Lutheran softball cruises to road win

CLINTONVILLE – Fox Valley Lutheran pitcher Madison Babcock fired a five-inning no-hitter as the Foxes downed Clintonville 13-0 in a North Eastern Conference at Bucholtz Park.

Babcock struck out 10 and did not walk a batter, while also adding three hits at the plate, as Fox Valley Lutheran evened its NEC record at 4-4 and improves to 8-4 overall this spring.

Claire Pfrang added a single, a triple, three runs scored and two RBI, and Brooklyn Blob, Natalie Bromm and Melayna Sokulski all had two RBI in the win for the Foxes.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Waupaca for a NEC doubleheader on Friday starting at 4 p.m.
