Ashwaubenon shuts out Appleton United boys hockey

ASHWAUBENON – The Appleton United boys hockey team was limited to 12 shot attempts and lost 3-0 to Ashwaubenon in a nonconference matchup Monday at the Cornerstone Ice Center.

Ashwaubenon (11-10) scored on goal in each of the three periods.

Brandon Tobak made 27 saves in goal for Appleton (7-12).

Appleton is off until Feb. 6 when it hosts Shawano at 7:30 p.m. at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
