Appleton West softball drops home game to Hortonville

APPLETON – Hortonville scored multiple runs in three different innings and pulled past Appleton West 12-2 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.

The Terrors (1-3, 0-3 FVA) had eight hits, but mustered just two runs, with Lillian Hanke and Madison Buchinger driving in runs in the loss.

Abbie Sippola had four hits, scored four times and drove in three to pace Hortonville (5-1, 2-1 FVA).

Appleton West will host Kaukauna on Thursday.
