Appleton West girls tennis sweeps Fond du Lac in FVA opener

APPLETON – The Appleton West girls tennis team opened its Fox Valley Association dual meet schedule with a resounding 7-0 sweep of Fond du Lac on Thursday at West High School.

The Terrors lost only 10 games and swept all seven matches in straight sets.

Molly Buettner at No. 4 singles, the No. 2 doubles team of Emma Schuchart and Kayda Aeby, and the No. 3 doubles team of Hailey Jacobson and Madison Buchinger all won 6-0, 6-0.

Appleton West is back in action Tuesday at home against Hortonville for another FVA dual.
