Appleton West girls golf wins close match over Appleton East

APPLETON – Appleton West’s Lydia Barry and Appleton East’s Jaelyn Feller tied for first place with 37s, but it was the Terrors that pulled out a 180-187 win in a Fox Valley Association girls golf dual meet at Reid Golf Course on Thursday.

Addison Edmunds shot a 45 and Chloe Deidrickson had a 48 to help the Terrors (4-2 FVA) to the win.

Alex Simon had a 49 to finish fifth for Appleton East (3-3 FVA).

Appleton East is back in action Saturday at the Fond du Lac Invitational at Rolling Meadows Golf Course before hosting Appleton North at Reid on Monday for an FVA match.

Appleton West will be at home Tuesday against Kimberly at Winagamie Golf Course.
