Appleton West girls golf tops Kimberly as Edmunds wins medalist honors

NEENAH – The Appleton West girls golf team had its best nine-hole team score of the season in a 176-183 victory over Kimberly on Tuesday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Addison Edmunds shot a career-best 39 to earn medalist honors and Chloe Didrickson also had her career-best round with a 43 to place third for the Terrors (5-2 Fox Valley Association).

Lydia Barry added a 45, Anna Blair shot 49 and Mariah Frase had a 50 as well for the Terrors.

Appleton West will play at Hortonville at Grand View Golf Club on Thursday, before finishing its FVA season at Ridgeway Country Club against Neenah on Monday. The Fox Valley Association Tournament is scheduled for Sept. 26 at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.
