Appleton West girls golf picks up first FVA victory with win over Oshkosh West

NEENAH – The Appleton West girls golf team picked up its first Fox Valley Association victory of the season on Tuesday, with a 194-239 victory over Oshkosh West at Winagamie Golf Course.

Lydia Barry was meet medalist with a 43, with teammates Addie Edmunds and Anna Blair finishing in a tie for second with 48s for the Terrors.

Appleton West lost a match at Winagamie against Neenah 168-197 on Aug. 24. Barry led West with a 46 and Blair had a 48.

Appleton West (1-4 Fox Valley Association) hosts Appleton East at Winagamie Golf Course on Thursday and will play at the Heart of the Valley/Metro Tournament Friday at High Cliff Golf Course.
