Appleton West girls golf drops dual to Hortonville

NEENAH – Hortonville’s Maci McNichols had a meet-best 40 to lead the Polar Bears to a 183-190 win over Appleton West in a Fox Valley Association girls golf dual meet on Tuesday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Lydia Barry finished second with a 42 and Addie Edmunds shot a 46 to finish third for Appleton West, which falls to 2-6 in FVA duals.

Hortonville finishes its FVA season with a 7-2 record.

Appleton West’s final conference meet is Thursday at Westhaven Golf Course in Oshkosh against Oshkosh North.
