Appleton West girls basketball loses road game at Kaukauna

KAUKAUNA – Kaukauna held Appleton West to seven made baskets in the game and cruised to a 64-18 win in a Fox Valley Association girls basketball matchup Thursday at Kaukauna High School.

The Ghosts (3-6, 2-3 FVA) led 41-8 at halftime to roll to the home win.

Addison Baumgart led Kaukauna with 23 points.

Appleton West’s top scorer was Lydia Barry, who hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with six points.

The Terrors (1-9, 0-6 FVA) play a nonconference game at Stevens Point on Saturday at 7:15 p.m.
