Appleton West football downs Sheboygan South for first win of 2024

SHEBOYGAN – Conner Navis threw a pair of touchdowns and ran for another as the Appleton West football team defeated Sheboygan South 27-13 on Thursday night at South High School.
The win snaps a 10-game losing streak for the Terrors as they had finished 0-9 a year ago and lost their opener last week to Green Bay East.
Navis had a 2-yard touchdown run, and threw TD passes of 19 yards to Parrion Peace and 48 yards to Bennett Nelson as the Terrors evened their season record at 1-1.
Giancarol Oregon ran for 189 yards and a touchdown for Sheboygan South (0-2).

Appleton West will open its Fox River Classic Conference North season at home against Ashwaubenon on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m.
