Appleton West boys soccer ties Kaukauna in FVA matchup

APPLETON – The Appleton West boys soccer team played to a 2-2 tie against Kaukauna in a Fox Valley Association match Tuesday night at Nienhaus Sports Complex.

Sammy Solis scored both of West’s goals in the second half to forge the tie.

Appleton West is now 1-3-2 overall, while Kaukauna drops to 2-2-1. Both teams are now 0-1-1 in the FVA.

Appleton West plays at Fond du Lac, while Kaukauna will host Hortonville on Thursday at 7 p.m.
