Appleton West boys golf wins tight dual over Oshkosh North

NEENAH – Prestyn Evers won meet medalist honors with a 38 to help lead the Appleton West boys golf team to a 173-177 win over Oshkosh North in a Fox Valley Association dual meet on Tuesday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Collin Evers added a 44, Graham Goldschmidt shot a 45, Lucas Downs had a 46 and Austin Arizola had a 47 for the Terrors, who are now 2-0 in FVA duals this spring.

Owen Weber and Dan Chopp both shot 44s for Oshkosh North, which was playing its conference opener.

Appleton West will play at home again Thursday at Winagamie against Hortonville starting at 3:30 p.m.
