Appleton West boys basketball loses road game to state-ranked Kaukauna

KAUKAUNA – Kaukauna overwhelmed Appleton West in the first half, rolling out to a 27-point lead, and defeated the Terrors 81-46 in a Fox Valley Association boys basketball game Friday night at Kaukauna High School.

Kaukauna, ranked No. 6 in this week’s Wissports.net Division 1 state coaches poll, is now 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the Fox Valley Association, while Appleton West drops to 0-9 and 0-5 in conference play.

Parrion Peace scored 15 points and Braylon Ise added 11 for the Terrors.

Andrew Jensen scored 18 points to lead the Ghosts.

Appleton West will host Fox Valley Lutheran (7-0) for a nonconference game Wednesday at 7 p.m.
