Appleton West baseball loses road game at unbeaten Sun Prairie East

SUN PRAIRIE – Undefeated Sun Prairie East scored multiple runs in three-straight innings and defeated Appleton West 13-3 in a nonconference baseball game Wednesday at Sun Prairie East High School.
The Cardinals (17-0) scored seven times in the second inning, twice in the third and added four more in the fourth, eventually finishing the game after five innings via the 10-run rule.
Hot-hitting Ryder Hoffman continued his torrid pace for Appleton West, going 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Dimity Edmunds had an RBI double in the loss.
Hoffman is 10-for-10 in his last three games and 14-for-15 in his last four for the Terrors.
The Terrors are back in action Thursday at home against Kaukauna. The game at Nienhaus Sports Complex starts at 5 p.m.
