Appleton West baseball blasts Oshkosh West

APPLETON – Ryder Hoffman had four of Appleton West’s 16 hits in a resounding 19-6 blowout of Oshkosh West in Fox Valley Association baseball action Tuesday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.

The Terrors (4-8, 4-5 FVA) scored six times in the bottom of the first inning and led 14-0 after three before Oshkosh West (1-10, 0-8 FVA) scored all six of its runs.

Appleton West tacked on three in the bottom of the fourth and finished off the win in five due to the 10-run rule.

Hoffman had two RBI and scored twice, and Blayton Will and Dominic Ruzzicone each drove in three runs for the Terrors.

Dexter Gerard, Riker Blahnik and Dimitry Edmunds all added two hits in the victory.

Appleton West will host Kimberly on Thursday at 5 p.m.
