Appleton United girls lacrosse loses to Hudson, defeats Superior

HUDSON – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team split a pair of games at Hudson High School on Saturday, losing to the host Raiders 18-3 and defeating Superior 14-4.
Riley Harris scored twice, and Elizabeth VanRyzin added a goal for Appleton in the loss to Hudson. Morgan Munter made 11 saves in goal for Appleton.
Lyla Cooke knocked in five goals and Harris had four in the big win for Appleton over Superior.
Ally Rhoda, VanRyzin, Elle Chipman, Kailey Heindel and Naomi Konkle also scored in the victory as Appleton United improves to 2-3 this spring.
Candice Guerrero, Laynee Zak, Cook and Harris had assists, with Munter making four saves.
Appleton will have some time off before hosting Brookfield on April 22 at Appleton North High School.
