Appleton United girls lacrosse drops road game at Brookfield East

BROOKFIELD – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team suffered its second loss in the opening week of the season, falling 12-7 at Brookfield East on Thursday.
Lyla Cooke scored three goals, Riley Harris added a pair of scores, and Kayden Smit and Kailey Heindel each scored once for Appleton.
Ally Rhoda and Elle Chipman each had assists, and Rachel Racine and Morgan Muntner both made three saves in goal for Appleton.
Appleton’s next game is Tuesday at Pulaski.
