Appleton United boys hockey shuts out Stoughton

APPLETON – Six different players scored goals for the Appleton United boys hockey team as they blanked Stoughton 6-0 in a nonconference game Friday night at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
Henry Heathman and Bodie Jackson scored in the opening period for Appleton, and it followed that up with three more goals in the second by Ethan Chosa, Tyler Bishop and Marek Zimmerman. Jack Kangas added the capper in the final minute as Appleton improves to 4-8 this season.
Brandon Tobak saved all 22 shots he saw in goal for Appleton.
Appleton hosts Cedarburg for another nonconference game on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
