Appleton United boys hockey shut out by KMMO in regular-season finale

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team wrapped up its regular-season schedule with a 3-0 nonconference loss to Kettle Moraine/Mukwonago/Oconomowoc on Tuesday at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
The Lasers scored all three of their goals in the second period, two by Eli Schwartz, to improve to 14-6-1 this season.
Brandon Tobak made 45 saves in goal for Appleton (1-18).
Appleton will play at Beaver Dam in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal next Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m.
