Appleton United boys hockey loses home game to De Pere

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team suffered its 12th-straight loss, falling to De Pere 5-1 in a nonconference game Friday night at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
De Pere (5-8) scored the first three goals of the game to take control.
Hans Ridlehoover scored the only goal for Appleton (0-12) on a power play with four minutes left in the second period.
Brandon Tobak saved 33 shots in goal for the United.
Appleton will have a week off before playing at Kettle Moraine/Mukwonago/Oconomowoc on Friday, Jan. 12, at the Naga-Waukee Ice Arena in Delafield.
